May We Have Your Attention, Please!

We have begun filling in the volunteer schedule for the upcoming 4th of July party. We believe the concession stand is covered or almost covered. We need volunteers for ticket sales, corn table, beer table, drinks table. We also need judges for the best decorated mode of transportation in the parade! The categories are bikes/scooters, wagons and golf carts. We would love to have volunteers for face painting also!

Please contact Wanda Baker at 281-701-1231 or membership@huntwickforest.com

Hopefully there will be enough volunteers so no one person will be on the job more than one hour.

Sincerely,

Huntwick Civic Association
Board of Directors

Movie Night at Donut Lake Park

THE LEGO MOVIE: THE SECOND PART

Saturday – May 18th – 7:30 PM

Join us for movie night at the park! This event is open to all Huntwick residents. Bring your blankets, bean bags, chairs, kids and even Grandma to enjoy viewing THE LEGO MOVIE: THE SECOND PART! from the asphalt multi-purpose court at Donut Lake Park. Bring your snacks and drinks (no glass containers). Movie will start just after sundown, around 7:30, weather permitting. Since inclement weather is forecast (at the moment) be sure to check social media for announcement of cancellation.

Because parking space is limited, we encourage carpooling, biking or walking. Don’t leave home without flashlights and reflective clothing! Remember that parking is prohibited on the park side of Charwell Crossing.

LAST MOVIE IN THE PARK until Fall brings cooler evenings and fewer mosquitoes!
