Celebrate America's Independence with Huntwick’s Fourth of July Festivities!
One of the best times to be a Huntwick Resident is during the Fourth of July! With bows, lights, flags and more, the whole neighborhood gets star-spangled and patriotic in July. Whether you’ve lived in Huntwick for years or you’re a new resident, we invite you to join us for all the fun and festivities this Independence Day!
Fourth of July Parade
Rain or shine, all residents are invited to join us at the intersection of Balmore Circle and Glen Erica as the Champions Volunteer Fire Department leads our parade to the clubhouse, ending the journey with a spectacular water shower! Decorate your car, bike, scooter, roller blades, stroller, wagon, golf cart, or whatever gets you there! The parade kicks off at 11:30am on Friday, July 4th, so we hope you’ll join us!
July 4th Pool Party:
After the parade, stick around for loads of family fun at the Clubhouse (5300 Coral Gables) from noon until 4pm. Phil and the grill masters will be grilling up, Mike Haver will be keeping the party moving as this year’s DJ, and much more! We’ll have food, drinks (including beer and margaritas for adults), and sweet treat available for purchase poolside, so come on out and bring the family!
We can always use more volunteers for the party. Shifts are short, so you will have plenty of time to relax and enjoy the festivities. There are even pre and post party opportunities in case you cannot volunteer during the event. If you can, give us hand and sign-up to volunteer here:
Holiday Yard Decorating Contest
To celebrate Independence Day, the Huntwick Beautification Committee is hosting the Decorating Contest again this year. With categories like All-American, Americana, Freedom, Sparkler, Uncle Sam, and 1776 Patriot, we hope you will go all out and show your patriot pride. Judging will take place June 30 and July 1st.

Patriotic Bow Sale
Show off you American pride with a beautiful Red White and Blue gas lamp bow! In Huntwick Forest, our gas lamps are part of the unique character of our neighborhood, and what better way to spruce up your home than with a gold-trimmed patriotic bow!
All bows will be hand delivered, so make sure you include your address when checking out. If you don’t want buy online, you can also pay by check or cash by emailing your order to beautification@huntwickforest.com
Each bow costs $8 and we will be taking orders until June 30th!
