As we finish the holiday season, many residents are probably wondering what to do with their Christmas trees. We wanted to remind everyone that Christmas Trees will not be picked up as part of our normal trash pick up, so please do not drag the trees out to the curb or place with your normal garbage.
However, you have multiple options for disposing of your trees:
- Living Earth – 12200 Cutten Rd
Living Earth is collecting old Christmas trees for mulch.
Requirements: All lights ornaments, tinsel, wire, nails and stands are removed. The tree cannot be flocked, painted or artificial.
Hours: Mon.-Fri. 7 a.m.-5 p.m., Sat. 7 a.m.-noon; closed Jan. 20 - Harris County Precinct 3 – 7700 Cypresswood Drive (Meyer Park)
