Monthly Crime/Traffic Stats: October 2023
It is that time of year again to be extra careful of our surroundings. Especially leaving the bank, ATM, or while shopping. YOU’ RE BEING WATCHED! Avoid taking the same route home. Make an extra turn, and keep an eye on your rearview mirror. And remember, when out shopping, to keep all packages in your truck or on the floor covered so they are not visible by prying eyes.

The following is only a summary of crime and traffic incidents in Huntwick. If more details are needed, contact HCSO at (346) 286-1600.

- Burglar Motor Vehicle, on October 13, at 1:30 p.m. on Coral Gable Drive. Report by Deputy Gallo.
- Criminal Mischief, on October 16, at 2:00 p.m. on Belhaven Drive. Reported by Deputy Cooper.
- Criminal Mischief, on October 17, at 7:30 p.m. on Braxtonshire Court. Reported by Deputy Gallo.
- Disturbance Loud Noise, on October 14, at 10:26 p.m. on Marble Gate Lane. Reported by Deputy Hager.
- Disturbance Loud Noise, on October 14, at 11:24 p.m. on Marble Gate Lane. Reported by Deputy Hood.
- Domestic Prevention, on October 1, at 9:30 a.m. on Olympia Field Lane. Reported by Deputy Schubert.

- Mental Health, on October 27, at 4:00 p.m. on Lookout Mountain Drive. Reported by Deputy Cooper.
- Sex Offended Verification, on October 31, at 9:59 p.m. on Westerham Place. Reported by Deputy Heuszel
- Sex Offended Verification, on October 31, at 10:07 p.m. on Willow Walk Street. Reported by Deputy Heuszel
- Stolen Vehicle, on October 4, at 11:11 a.m. on Balmore Circle. Reported by Deputy Pickett.
- They also responded to the following:
- Seven (7) Alarm Local, thirty-four (34) Public infrastructure checks, seventy-eight (78)
- Mud building checks, twenty-eight (28) Park checks, four hundred-six-two (462)
- Contract checks, three (3) Suspicious person, fifty-two (52) Vacation watches, one (1)
- Writ served.
TRAFFIC:
The speed limit in Huntwick is 30 miles an hour!

Our patrol deputies also, responded to the following:
Three (3) Suspicious vehicles, three (3) Abandoned vehicles, one (1) Traffic Hazard, and twenty (2) Traffic Initiatives.

Be watchful for anything suspicious or inappropriate, especially for our children, young adults, and seniors. Please don’t leave valuables in plain sight and unattended. Remember, posting it on social media is different from calling the Sheriff’s dispatch.
